I have successfully managed Oracle rollouts within the scope of the SSC. This would involve Business Process Design with the client right through to implementation and once rolled out incorporating the support into the application support team. I have managed both large-scale and small scale implementations since Oracles inception in 2001 which would involve a user base of over 1000 people. Our team was presented with a Gold Award in December 2005 for the successful Oracle implementation of Pepsico Europe HQ which involved over 300 users in twelve locations.

GTS was a Telecommunications company which specialised in providing Broadband solutions to an international client base; however the company closed down after 1 year due to financial difficulties.Role:Oracle functional support on Oracle Financials ERP suite to a user base of 3000.Provided training to both in-house users and worldwide.Attended intense training in Oracle University for the Oracle Financials ERP suite to provide functional support.Worked closely with Consultants and Developers scoping requirements and troubleshooting.

Dell Computers is one of the top 5 manufacturers of PC equipment in the world currently employing over 5000 staff in Ireland. Role: Preparation of consolidated accounts for Dell Europe B.V. And presentation to the board of Directors of said statements. Responsible for audit of all companies and computation of tax liabilities. Dell runs a commissionaire structure so part of my role was to ensure all Business units ledgers were in line with Local GAAP.Used Essbase, Data Warehouse OLAP (Brio), Hyperion and Oracle Financials to produce accounts. Improved the reporting methods by streamlining and documenting the process from a prior state where there was no audit trail.Received commendation from the VP of Finance for the "Best set of Statutory Accounts presented to the board in the past 7 years"Vat compliance to EU standards, which involved different VAT regulations throughout Europe.Additional Responsibilities:Worked in the Intercompany department while Oracle Financials was being implemented there, Intercompany was not a standard function with Oracle financials then, I became responsible for trouble shooting, documenting and eliminating problems associated with design errors on the system and testing solutions.

Role: Contract to produce final year accounts for publication.Responsible for producing notes to accounts for both bank and consolidated accounts, cash flow notes for both bank and consolidated.Intercompany account reconciliation, which involved a major reconciliation due to integration of two GL's as a result of a take-over of Advance Bank.Responsible for co-ordinating all GL reconciliation's Australia wide for audit and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of each.Implemented a new method of collating and report writing of all reconciliation's as a result of the take-over and tight deadlinesAdditional ResponsibilitiesMonth end accounting for the board report, assisting tax in determine cost for new VAT being implemented Australia wide. Main Responsibilities:Accountancy:Responsible for the complete financial reporting for two companies and one sole trader.In addition to complete accounts preparation, I set budgets, prepared castings, monthly reports and variance analysis reports for these companies. I was responsible for the start-up of a new company which provided a payroll service to various local Multinational companies. I advised management in both companies on feasibility of new projects by compiling budgets and cashflows Quality Management:I held the position of quality manager and have successfully brought the company through quality surveillance's by ISO 9002 personnel.I have computerised the ISO 9002 system from a paper system to an integrated database system.IT Systems:In conjunction with a systems analyst I compiled a report on our existing in house computer system and drafted a recommendation report to management.I then researched and purchased a system, which suited our needs, which involved a networked system using Windows NT 4, internal and external e-mail, and Internet access. I identified training needs of the users and selected suitable courses for their development.Web Site: With the help of a designer I designed our own web site and maintained and marketed it.
