UX designer and content creator working within the digitally enabled workforce team to digitally upskill NHS Scotland's workforce.

My work mainly focuses on creating bespoke invites and logos for clients. I work with them from initial ideas for their vision through to the final product. I communicate and problem solve with the clients regularly to ensure their specifications are being met. I enjoy creating wedding invites as it gives the couple a chance to realise what they want their celebrations to look like – as well as most of the time giving me a lot of creative freedom for design, layout and typeface.

I lead a diverse team of contact tracers with NHS National Services Scotland helping to supress and break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. I am responsible for line-managing direct reports and managing their individual needs and learning developments through a programme of individual and group training. I work on the operations side of the business triaging new cases, debriefing staff daily, managing rotas and implementing new operational procedures. I worked with clients to gather and define requirements, establish scopes and manage project milestones, while developing creative design for marketing packages, including print materials, brochures, banners and signs. With often very vague design briefs I must interpret exactly what the client wants and produce high quality designs under a strict time limit of 15 minutes per customer.I employed design fundamentals when selecting typography, composition and layout in design work. I have 5 years experience working as an Administrative Assistant for the IFA, Policy Services Ltd. Working part-time I had to pick up work from staff during the week and ensuring they could start again the following week, targets had to be met every week, under a strict time limit.
