senior enhanced nurse working as RNID in the adult I.D community residential setting. I have completed numerous cpd's and courses on Dementia prevention techniques and have attended many webinar sessions and seminars on dementia prevention and care. I completed a postgraduate higher diploma in complex needs in Ucc (2007-2008) and a postgraduate Higher diploma in Gerontology in Ucc (2017-2018). In 2022 I completed the Msc in Nursing. My interests are in dementia care and prevention strategies specifically in people with Down syndrome, as an enthusiastic and hardworking individual I would like to get the opportunity to work with prevent dementia teams and contribute positively to peoples lives. I am a motivated and enthusiastic advocate who strives for excellence in all aspects of care.
