With 30 years experience in the Banking industry, I have developed over the years a wide and varied skill set. My experience is predominantly in the Group Treasury function of Banking. However I have also considerable experience across the wider Group Finance function, other areas of Banking e.g. technology. I also have strong management and analytical skills that can be applied to many departments, functions and industries.I manage large teams of people who are responsible for delivering on a variety of time sensitive, business and mission critical services, ensuring that these are carried out efficiently, effectively, on-time and in line with budget, governance and regulations.I have detailed experience in being Project Manager and business lead/SME on a wide range of areas/services e.g. EMIR Refit, ISO 20022, SFTR, Target 2 Services, ECMS, Securitisations and SWIFT CSP. This experience requires that I also manage resources at a cross functional level, using strong time, people management, and prioritisation skills, running up to 10 projects in parallel.As well as being Project Manager, I am currently also responsible for and have extensive experience in business related change. I have been responsible for all business related change on over 25 systems, ensuring vendor/third party management is run in line with industry expectations, application support remains active, all business system issues are managed and resolved in a timely manner and there is effective and efficient internal and external support to ensure continued service for all customers. Through this role I have also led out on a number of RFP/RFI tenders and implemented/upgraded a number of systems e.g. Core Treasury system(s), Liquidity Reporting system(s), General Ledger system(s), Procurement system(s) and Treasury supporting systems e.g. reconciliations, confirmation matching, SWIFT and clearing/custodian services.Taking all of my current and prior experience into consideration my current role has been extended to include a number of industry wide regulations and mission critical services. I am responsible for working with the Group Treasurer and Head of ALM on the implementation and on-going support of IAF/SEAR. I am the lead Data Steward for the Group Finance function, ensuring that all data related topics e.g. breaches, quality etc is embedded and managed across teams. I am also a member of our Bank's People's Experience Counsel, working within Group Finance and across the Bank on the overall people agenda, looking at how we can best support our colleagues on a daily basis.
