My main focus for the past two years has been medium and large scale Dynamics AX implementations. The customers are producers of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, wholesalers and retailers. The projects have been very diverse and included OLAP, handheld devices and more.

I recently got the opportunity to participate in the launch of OWAS warehouse managements system for Dynamics AX 2009. My role was being an account manager for foreign partners, but that involved creating marketing material for foreign markets, find new non-domestic partners in new market areas, make sure that old partners are aware of the new version etc.

M.Sc. Engineering from DTU in 2004. Have been working as a project manager and developer of financial solutions since then. Almost all of my projects have been web based information systems, such as secure websites or thin client solutions. All of my projects have used either Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005 for data storage. Have also been involved with OLAP (Cognos/ProClarity/Reporting Services) for a while.

Worked 3 summers for Hugvit, doing basic Lotus Notes programming, mainly for government agencies in Iceland.

Worked with youths for 2 summers. I lead teams of 10-20 young people (ages 13 to 16), doing odd jobs for the township, where we lived. The work consisted of basic gardening, building of fences etc. Mixed in with the group were handicapped individuals. First shot at project management and planning. Great experience.
