As a technical facilitator, I was responsible to mobilize and facilitate rural villagers and develop infrastructures in rural villages. I designed and managed for infrastructures such as schools, health clinic, roads, water supply and community halls. My job tasks included:• Created/ prepared Designs and Estimates for multiple infrastructure types (schools, health clinic, community halls, roads, drainage, retaining walls, culverts, water supply, wash facilities, bridges, irrigation, etc), following World Bank’s environmental policies and standards• Trained and built the capacity of local villagers in procurement, M&E, Operations and Maintenance, as well as environmental management practices, such as waste management, water conservation, energy efficiency, and biodiversity conservation• Facilitated villagers to identify construction needs for market linkages and development, ensuring alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals and the needs and preferences of the local communities• Monitored sub-project provided technical advice to the rural public, as well as conducted environmental audits and assessments to identify and mitigate environmental risks and impacts of infrastructure projects
