Profile bio

About Eitan Oksenberg

I am an experienced and creative researcher, project manager and scientific communicator. With research experience at the interface of material science, physics, and chemistry, I find ways to innovate and execute by implementing multidisciplinary know-how.I offer consulting services related to technology evaluation and development.Currently, I am part of the research team at Single Quantum. I coordinate, lead, and participate in research projects dedicated to developing the next generation of the world's most sensitive single-photon detectors based on superconducting nanowires. I represent SQ in conferences and stockholders events showcasing our developed technology. I also formulate and write external and internal reports including proposals for external funding, white papers, perspectives, and technology roadmaps. As a postdoctoral researcher at AMOLF, Amsterdam. I was developing new materials for next-generation LEDs in an academy-industry endeavor. I was also investigating how visible and IR light can be used along with nanophotonic design to manipulate materials' properties and chemical reactions. In my doctorate, I fabricated and characterized semiconductor nanowires: I fabricated nanowire-based devices (photodetectors, photovoltaic and field-effect transistors) and correlated nanoscale structures with their optical and (opto)electronic properties. My expertise includes:Designing, securing funds, executing, and communicating research projects: Turning ideas or questions into fundable operative research plans and seeing them through.Coordinating and managing multiple and multidisciplinary partners, conducting (mostly) photonic simulations and experiments – analyzing data – visualizing and communicating outcomes, and reporting to funding agencies.Electromagnetic simulationMaterials/nanomaterials synthesis and characterization.Electron/optical microscopy and spectroscopy. Electronic and optoelectronic measurements.Nanofabrication and nanodevices.Data analysis and visualization.

Listed skills include Research, Science, Matlab, Microsoft Office, and 6 others.
