Built, trained and now motivate and lead TDW+Co’s highly successful media team. Experienced in planning and buying for all media channels (TV, radio, print, digital, social, and OOH) across 24 AANHPI languages, and 60 DMAs, oversee media services for all clients, emphasizing strategic media selection to cost-effectively meet their goals. Recognized as a top negotiator in the Asian American market, consistently secures 30%+ added value for clients. I also work closely with the media analytics team to deliver optimal analysis, insights and recommendations to clients and help build and foster relationships between internal teams as well as externally with cross-cultural advertising agencies, media partners and Asian American community leaders and social influencers.

Having been recruited by the executive managers of InterTrend to establish the agency’s presence in Asian American markets from the ground up, I met and exceeded goals by devising and implementing a comprehensive long-term plan covering finance, human resources, new business development and corporate expansion. I aligned internal and external clients in integrated initiatives, managed a $30M budget, oversaw key accounts and consistently secured a 25% incremental budget for accounts through strategic media planning. During my tenure with InterTrend, I attained significant ROMIs, including 2.0 for Chase and elevating State Farm to rank #2 in unaided brand awareness.

Oversaw the key Volvo account, conceptualizing, creating and delivering advertising results and aligning corporate strategies with local dealership initiatives. I provided insights into market values, lifestyles and psychographics for Asian consumers and created, wrote, and presented agency points-of-view and responses.

Developed engagement concepts, content and events to expand the high-end Asian American market. Focusing on lifestyle and entertainment trends, I helped positioned brands, including Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep, strongly for long-term visibility and growth by identifying key influencers in their target markets and designing and implementing social media campaigns to evolve their brand narratives to communicate compelling context, continuity, and future focus as transformative force multipliers.
