• Align with Global Account and Enterprise sales teams to set technical strategy and messaging globally for large Enterprise and Global accounts.• Work with Dell Technologies teams and customer to develop 3-5+ year IT strategy and data center architectures (IT Atlas)• Be a technical thought leader for the account’s technical leadership, enterprise architects, and application development, engineering and operations teams• Evangelize and drive adoption of 3rd platform technologies around Cloud, Big Data, Converged/Hyperconverged Infrastructure, and the Software Defined Data Center (SDDC)• Coordinate and deliver solution demonstrations, presentations, POCs, and road map sessions • Act as the technical conduit between the customer and Dell EMC, providing feedback and road map input directly to product management• Attend quarterly business reviews with Dell EMC and customer executive sponsors to understand the current state of the business, track existing activities and discuss future initiatives

• Manage a team of seven systems engineers in the Houston Enterprise sales district• Work closely with the district sales manager, sales teams, and partners to develop technical sales strategies for 30 Enterprise accounts to achieve a $50M+ revenue goal• Collaborate with EMC product specialists and partners to continuously educate and develop SE team, with a focus on 3rd platform technology solutions (Cloud, Big Data, Converged/Hyperconverged Infrastructure, SDDC)• Work with sales teams to qualify sales opportunities in terms of technical requirements, competition, the customer decision making process and budget• Inspect configuration and documentation of EMC software, hardware and service solutions to meet customer and sales objectives• Manage escalations and follow through until successfully resolved• Attract, retain, and recruit employees

• Work closely with sales reps to develop and implement account penetration strategies to achieve annual quota goals of $5M – $10M per sales rep• Successfully build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers in support of sales team objectives and leverage corporate resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriate• Lead product presentations, demonstrations, and technical POCs for customers and prospects• Configure and document EMC software, hardware, and services solutions to meet customer and sales objectives• Present and market the design and value of proposed EMC solutions and business case to customers, prospects, and EMC management• Maintain knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections to EMC solutions• Anticipate technology and/or market trends and provide guidance on their application to customers• Assume leadership role in District Sales and SE meetings• Provide mentorship for junior SE members

• Design and install SAN and NAS environments utilizing MaXXan intelligent FC switches and appliances• Deploy storage virtualization appliances and switches into multi-vendor storage environments• Deploy virtual tape library (VTL) appliances and switches into multi-vendor storage environments• Perform block-level data migrations between heterogeneous storage arrays using MaXXan’s storage virtualization appliances • Provide presales technical support for account managers• Scope and develop Statements of Work for potential consulting engagements and product installs• Review product marketing requirement documents (MRDs) and provide feedback on product features and specifications based on industry experience• Develop courseware and conduct training on MaXXan products

• Manage and deliver large scale storage and backup/restore assessments, providing software, hardware, and SAN/NAS design recommendations based on business and technical requirements• Provide technical support for account managers and assist in developing software and consulting services business• Manage and deliver Storage Strategy assessments for large Enterprise clients providing a strategic roadmap that includes organizational and process improvements targeted at increasing service levels and driving out costs• Work as technical liaison between customer, sales, and product development• Manage onsite managed services project involving 20+ resources from several departments within the company• Design and manage SAN implementations• Develop project plans, manage project budgets, facilitate meetings and act as primary contact with client project sponsor• Develop professional project deliverables including reports, spreadsheets, diagrams, and presentations• Present project results to executive level audience• Manage data migration projects for clients migrating from direct attached to SAN environments• Develop storage and backup/restore Total Cost of Ownership models• Scope and develop Statements of Work for consulting engagements
