As a proven agile learner, I’ve stretched from growing up on a dairy farm to being a future-proofing business thinker.I owned my own dairy cattle and started an agriculture ed program for elementary kids while in high school. After my Bachelors, I uncovered a hidden passion in teaching the next generation: I led two sections of Communication 100 while completing my Masters of Science in Communication. I dipped my toes into PR, reputation management and luxury brand marketing. And then jumped into agency world working on strategic marcom & loyalty marketing for DuPont Pioneer. We were at the forefront of content marketing, personalized communications and marketing attribution. I’ll never forget the die-cut direct mailer with localized messaging.I dabbled in media sales and running my own consulting business. I learned how to cold call and picked up wisdom I cherish from local business owners and leaders.Then I grew from account manager to overseeing agency revenue as Director of both account management and new business development. Here I architected custom solutions and program strategies for top tech brands (SAP, Dell, AT&T, LinkedIn) and starts ups (monday.com, DemandBase, pantheon.io, SaaStr) When ‘content was king’, we shepherded influencer marketing into the B2B space. Featuring thought leaders like Barb Corcoran and Arianna Huffington in our collaborations with AT&T and SAP executives was a dream. But more, amazing was the relationships built with people and the benchmarks we busted. But 10x goal reach or 200+% YoY pageviews wasn’t enough to keep my mouth watering. I wanted to prove what we were doing actually mattered. But we couldn’t pull the data through to a closed sale. Within my first week in performance marketing, I made a ROI calculator. Because I could! The services we’re delivering with technology (Salesforce, HubSpot, Bullhorn, & more) could actually generate revenue – not be a cost center. The stories I’d been helping tell for years for SaaS on automation, AI, ML, operational efficiency and analytics became real. Today, I help my client partners surface their real business problems and we create a custom solution to remedy them. We don’t always deliver on every one of our ideas – but we consult to figure out what’s best for the business, then we get in there and build and optimize to drive impact.
