As an alumna of Grand Valley State University’s Writing program, I excel at working with the written word. I have experience in multiple forms of writing (technical, business, creative, and new journalism), as well as copy and developmental editing. During my time at GVSU, I was the Nonfiction Genre Editor for fishladder, a contributor and editor for InWriting, and an executive board member for the Organization of Professional Writing. My previous job experience includes working as a writing consultant, where I led workshops and had one-on-one discussions with students, a social media consultant, where I helped local businesses get their brands on social media, and a content creation intern, where I led a team of writers and produced weekly content for a lifestyle blog. I am currently the Social Media Coordinator for Central Michigan University, where I plan, moderate, and help create content for our main social channels. Fire Up Chips!
