Its aim is to drive and support improvement and increased value in health and social care.My role as Deputy Director is to help shape the direction of the organisation, developing new assurance products and solutions in response to the risks and challenges faced by our clients. In-depth knowledge and understanding of governance, risk management and internal control is part of day-to-day work. As a registered general nurse, my specialist assurance area is 'clinical quality', particularly consent and mental health law (MHA, MCA & DoLS). I also have a specific interest in DNACPR.
