Steadfast's 2014 Annual Report was quoted as an example in KPMG's research report - Review of recent financial report de-cluttering trends in the ASX200.- 2013 Annual report: First annual report completed (within 6 weeks since employment) as a newly listed entity, especially, the remuneration report provided key led up to future executive remuneration frameworks and schemes for transparency purposes.

Another exciting challenge arose in late 2011 and hence I have taken up a new secondment to the Group People and Culture division within IAG. The key role as implied from my job title is to produce another successful remuneration report, the key objectives of my role is to:- address the ever changing regulatory environments on the disclosures in remuneration report of IAG;- build up internal capability and technical knowledge; and- streamline processes.In addition, this is a great and rare opportunity for myself to:- take a break from my core skills, capability and responsibilities of statutory/financial reporting (yet strongly linking back as part of the annual report content owner from a different angle); - learn new skills and work with a different group of people outside Finance;- gain new explosures in working with the Group CEO and executives, various key board directors as well as wider group of people and culture communities in all businesses; and- support business decisions and provide recommendations to all human resources related activities and issues (including legislative implication, compliance and governance matters, and disclosure and communication impact/implication) in relation to the divestment of the UK businesses.Key Acheivement in 2012:IAG's Remuneration Report received second highest vote "for" of 96.8% by the shareholders at the 2012 Annual General Meeting.The Remuneration Reporting Project was nominated for third quarter's award - "Commitment to delivery" in the Corporate Office Excellence Award.

This is another challenge took up since May 2011. I am a member elected director of the IAG's employer superannuation plan, one of the top 10 corporate superannuation plan in Australia.This new role gives me the opportunity to sit on the other side of the fence, as a board director, working with the superannuation plan management on how to transform the corporate superannuation plan to meet with the the ever changing regulatory changes, Stronger Super and MySuper. Other than governing the management team to set up new business plan, the board also needs to support the business as usual activities for the benefit of the members of the plan.With my strong finance, financial/statutory reporting and audit experiences, I am invited to join the Risk Management and Compliance Committee. This committee's core responsibilities delegated from the Board include:- ensure integrity of internal and external financial reporting; and- ensure sound risk management and compliance framework are in place.The core activities other than the normal responsibilities during 2012 and 2013 are:- selecting and appointing the new Independent non-executive Director who is also the Chair person of the Board; and- oversight the application of MySuper application.

My key responsibility is to ensure the half yearly and annual financial reports of the Group and other entities are completed with high quality, easy to understand and timely.The core responsibility could only be achieved via:- continuous improvement in processes and systems; and- work collaboratively with all stakeholders through effective and efficient communication.KEY ACHIEVEMENT IN 2011:What a dream comes true!!! As a leader of the annual report acceleration project, I am so excited that at IAG, we have managed to release the 2011 annual report and all other relevant documents on the date of the ASX annual results announcement. I would like to thank all relevant parties, including our colleagues, the system suppliers to make my dream comes true.KEY ACHIEVEMENT IN 2010:Being nominated and winner of the third quarter award and finalist and winner of annual Award - “Commitment to deliver” of the Corporate Office Excellence Award. The process nominated was the year end reporting processes improvement. The changes included the completion and implementation of new system which was used to capture all significant reporting data, automated consolidation of these data, incorporated one global timetable to ensure clear requests and deadlines and improved communication with all relevant stakeholders.

This is a new challenge, being able to take up higher duty in a special secondment to the leadership team within Group Finance during the crucial reporting period.After the nine months secondment and going through two reporting seasons, June 09 year end and Dec 09 half year end, I have had chance to further develop my communication skills, implement new and improved processes, lead changes to better support the Group's current operating models.The key projects kick started during this period of time on processes/systems are for setting up:- new and improved reporting processes, including clear timetable and deliverables for various counterparties; and - improving the reporting data capture systems to streamline the data collection and improve quality and accuracy of the data collected. With the completion of this project and process improvements, in 2010, the team was being nominated and received two awards in the Corporate Office Excellence Awards. This reiterated my ability to make things happens.

Key responsibilities:- Coordinated and managed the completion of half yearly and yearly financial reports for listed entities and yearly financial reports for unlisted entities - Coordinated and managed the NSW Workers Compensation Agent licence/Agent reporting requirements on quarterly and annual basis;- Led "Finance" stream of work for various NSW Workers Compensation businesses projects (between 2000 - 2007), including application of new WorkCover Insurer Licence, integration of newly acquired businesses, integration of WorkCover Insurer Licences etc.- Project managed the implementation of various tools to assist and improve efficiency in half yearly and yearly reporting requirements: * CaseWare – a financial reports preparation tool; * Multi-currency ledger; and * SAP Consolidation system – an in house developed system for consolidation and reporting purposes.- Provide finance and accounting advice for various due diligence projects and other ad hoc corporate projects, including acquisitions, divestments, capital and debt raising activities.
