Currently, I am an event producer for Executive Chef Events, a culinary production and team building company based in Emeryville, CA. My current work involves sales work and customer service for our clients, as well as complete event planning and production for culinary team building events. Through these events I teach cooking classes, emcee competitive cook-offs, write and revise recipes, and maintain kitchen wares and equipment.Previously I was the Director of Operations for the New Century Chamber Orchestra, based in San Francisco. I managed the day to day artistic operations of this ensemble, producing concerts, tours, recording sessions, and negotiating contracts with guest artists and union musicians. I drafted and managed the artistic portion of the organization's budget which, during my time, ranged from $500K - $1.1M. I also handled several customer and donor database transitions from multiple platforms, produced a series of videos shown during concerts, and supervised several employees and interns. Other employment I've enjoyed includes more than 6 years of customer service in both the healthcare and technology fields and time as a UNIX sysadmin. I also have limited professional experience as a classical musician.I pride myself on my interpersonal skills - I excel at communicating with and leading a diverse range of people, and I encourage individuals to use the skills and talents they possess to meet goals collectively.
