The National MS Society is dedicated to achieving a world free of MS. We provide comprehensive support services and educational programs to people living with MS, their family and friends, help our many volunteers raise funds to support our local services as well as support the National MS Society’s critical research initiatives and advocate for change.

The ALS Association Michigan Chapter provides help to people with ALS and their families and give them hope for the future. We provide no-cost services such as support groups, durable medical equipment loan closet, ALS Association liaison at affiliated ALS clinics, respite program, assistive technology program and education through literature and workshops. As the Development Coordinator I oversee fundraising and mission awareness efforts related to the Walk to Defeat ALS and Chapter events. -Develop fundraising plans including setting budgets and goals-Cultivate and steward key constitutes -Recruit and retain friends and family teams and corporate teams-Mentor, coach and encourage event participants to reach their fundraising goal -Recruit and steward corporate partners -Recruit, empower and mobilize volunteers
