I volunteered in Bangladesh for 12 weeks in 2018, working in a rural community where I was part of a small team focusing on SRHR issues. I recruited local peer educators, organised and facilitated workshops on menstrual and maternal health, and contributed to community awareness-raising events, on issues such as child marriage and domestic abuse.

I was responsible for leading and coordinating large groups of international students as they visited Hastings for two or three weeks during the summer period. I organised and facilitated various sporting, entertainment and learning activities in Hastings. I also led large groups of students on longer day trips to London, Brighton and other cities, where I was responsible for up to 60 students.
