Teach business process management and improvement in the Master of Engineering and Master of Healthcare Administration Programs. Develop and teach ISE 507 - Six Sigma Quality Resources for Health Care and HMGT 602 - Operational Efficiency Processes for Health Care Operations.

Lean Six Sigma and Project Management leader for Southern California analysts, nurses, physicians and leaders in healthcare engineering practices to identify opportunities and implement improvements. Successfully led and supported a portfolio of 17 healthcare process improvement projects over a two year period.

Define lean six sigma management practices in Microsoft’s North and South American Licensing Operations, Microsoft’s manufacturing and distribution operation. Train over twenty non-engineers to learn and apply engineering principles and become internally certified as Six Sigma Black and Green Belts. During this time, I began teaching process improvement with USC and Microsoft supported my pursuit of an MBA degree with UCLA.

Established project management offices and integrated lean six sigma project management practices into the organization's development practices. My role was to lead product development efforts for Motorola’s CodeLink and Motorola’s Clinical Micro Sensor organizations. I influenced, advised and led teams of scientists in the use of engineering practices focusing on designed experiments and project management to successfully develop and release human genotyping bio-array products for CYP450 and Cystic Fibrosis.

I started my professional experience at Motorola as a semiconductor device engineer where I applied multivariable statistics to identify opportunities in semiconductor products to improve throughput, cost or yield. After four years, I was given the opportunity to lead a team of engineers to do the same. Over the years, I successfully organized and implemented hundreds of technical and management projects. These efforts were successful and approximately $100MM in profit was realized because of these projects.
