In my new role, I am committed to ensuring that learners receive the support they need to achieve their full potential. My responsibilities include conducting EHCP assessments to identify the needs of high-needs learners, developing and implementing tailored plans to support their learning and development, and providing mentoring and guidance to help them achieve their personal and academic goals. I am focused on equipping these learners with the skills and knowledge they need to successfully transition to apprenticeships, employment, and further education opportunities.

As an employability project lead, I am responsible for ensuring the implementation of the YES (Youth Employment Skills), which supports young Londoners aged 16 to 24 with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), who are not in employment, education or training (NEET) and require intensive assistance to reach sustained education, training, or employment outcomes. This programme focuses specifically on those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health ( SEMH) needs.
