I oversee logistical details with schools where I facilitate Girl Connect Programming in both English and Spanish. Our goal is to develop girls' and gender expansive youth self - efficacy, as well as support the adults in their lives to do the same. I manage groups across central Texas, including facilitating Professional Development, Parent, Assemblies and conferences. I build relationships with new potential partners and develop relationships with administrators and educators to strengthen GIRLS programming and accessibility. I consistently meet retention numbers and produce growth in our students. I hold positions on multiple DEI committees including the Gender Taskforce and Spanish Translation Taskforce, where our goal is to continue to create spaces for girls and gender expansive youth to feel empowered and Spanish-speaking communities to have the same accessibility as English speaking students, respectively.

Organized, planned and executed annual fundraisers and exceeded goal by 250%, and met goals for Amplify Austin raising $45,000. I stewarded and grew donor relationships through regular communication and increased partnership engagement. I designed content for social medias across RST with a reach of 10k+ supporters and directed community communication and had the honor to interview and translated client stories, wrote stories and recipes, and assisted on photoshoots for upcoming cookbook as part of an advocacy campaign across the state. I facilitated growth in engagement and donation with faith organizations, local and national corporations, are implemented educational outreach opportunities via collaboration with local agencies, hosting speaking engagements and facilitating trainings on refugee and asylum policies. I organized and provided meaningful interactions between RST clients and community, cultivated culturally informed events that brought joy, education and inspiration to Austinites including pop up dinner events and a client speaker series

Ran summer programming around cultural immersion and community service for high school students in the USA, the Dominican Republic, Thailand and Laos.

Teaching all levels of ELLs (English Language Learners) in weekly classes. I develop curriculums, lesson plans and class activities on a day to day basis. Competent in lesson planning and classroom management, and flexible to last minute changes.

Developed listening skills, communication among students and staff, designing events and programs for student body, creating digital marketing campaigns for events, confrontational skills and problem solving, and ethical and decisional making capabilities. Well educated in motivational coaching techniques as well as problem solving methods, goal setting, and risk assessment.

Works in a close environment with fellow advocates while doing interactive presentations for various classes, student residential groups, and greek life on and off campus about relevant topics including but not limited to - sexual assault, rape culture, intimate partner violence, human sexuality, consent, masculinity, and various topics in the same realm.

Cross trained by the Financial Aid and Bursar's department to answer calls from students, colleagues and parents with questions regarding their accounts at UMass. Received extensive training to achieve proficiency in the UMass database.

I write articles on any range of topics, however I chose to focus on music which includes reviewing albums, finding up and coming artists, and attending and reviewing concerts and shows.

Blogger for the Human Rights organization The Borgen Project, required to write four weekly 500-1000 word articles detailing various current events that relate to poverty and the human experience. Required to self -edit and correct articles and submit them in a timely manner every week for the length of the summer. Skills necessary included up to date access and knowledge of world events as well as eloquent presentation of information in an accessible manner.
