I currently provide our Business Partners and Customers with technical advice regarding Storage Area Network (SAN) and systems architecture. I currently lead architectural efforts for any customer, regardless of size and scope. As part of an enterprise planning team, I have a thorough knowledge of business requirements as well as an understanding of the many disciplines that make up modern datacenters. I am part of the pre-sales team and I am partnered with Business Development Managers to ensure success within the territory and region.In addition, I am a corporate-wide resource, speaking at and participating in highly visible user events, industry conferences and seminars, and technical groups. As a SAN expert, I am a liaison for field system engineers, corporate system engineers, product marketing analysts, competitive analysts, and other relevant technical business areas.Responsibilities• Regional technical resource teamed with one or more business development team members to advance Dell Compellent’s presence in the respective region.• Conducting and/or participating in presale product presentations, demos, customer evaluations and ROI analyses. Deliver technical presentations and respond to technical questions during sales calls.
