Eli has over 21 years of experience in many aspects of Israeli taxation. In the course of his work at PwC Israel and at the Israeli Tax Authority Eli gained vast expertise in leading large and complex tax engagements, including consulting in the fields of real-estate, financing of operations, offerings and investments, mergers and acquisitions and spin-offs, as well as planning clients' tax stategies.Eli provides services to many major Israeli communications, real estate and biotechnology clients .Prior to joining the firm, Eli served in several senior positions in the Israeli Tax Authority, incluidng as the Deputy Tel Aviv 4 Assessing Officer, and as a Senior Official in the Professional Division. In the course of his work in the public sector, Eli was a member of the Kapota-Matza and RabinowitzCommittees and had an active role in drawing up the income tax and land taxation reforms. Prior to joining the public sector Eli worked in the real estate sector.Eli received a BA in Business Administration (specializing in accounting) from the College of Management Academic Studies. Eli is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel. In the course of the last decade Eli has also been lecturing Tax Laws courses in the Tel Aviv University; he previously lectured Income Tax Supervisors courses.
