Engineer
Current•Demonstrates strong understanding of complex systems such as nuclear power plant transient responses, reactor physics and motor-operated valve operation.• Effectively educate colleagues on internal systems and process requirements.• Responsible for driving a training process that requires coordinating management and engineering resources in the development of achievable milestones and timelines. • Manages responsibilities and time effectively to identify, pursue and complete professional training qualifications in addition to assigned tasks. • Analyzes pumps, valves, heat exchangers and their contributions to steam cycle performance. • Monitor nuclear facility operations in order to identify any design, construction, or operation practices that violate safety regulations and laws or that could jeopardize safety.• Keep abreast of developments and changes in the nuclear field by reading technical journals and by independent study and research.
