Not one to back away from a challenge.I have over 2 years of experience in various Manufacturing Engineering roles for automotive and building products manufacturing. I am skilled in data analysis, and complex problem solving and I possess a strong interest in thermodynamics. More recently I've acquired experience managing the deployment of an enterprise IT system which has required extensive engagement with both internal stakeholders and external vendors. I have been able to leverage my past experience with industrial data analytics to envision and develop use cases for the new AVEVA (Formerly OSISoft) PI System at VT. I believe strongly that transitioning away from fossil fuels and unsustainable land use, towards an economic model that focuses on biodiversity and reuse of waste products rather than linear exploitation of raw materials, is absolutely necessary for the world to be livable and equitable for future generations. Mitigating climate change is one of my fundamental personal and professional motivations.I am interested in alternative energy technology, metal fabrication, mechatronics and controls, programmable microcontrollers, the German language, regenerative agriculture practices, gardening, cave exploration, and DIY home improvement projects.
