Working with the Formula SAE racing team as an engineer within the combustion car powertrain sub-team. This team is responsible for designing and manufacturing all things involving powertrain on the gas car, such as fueling, cooling, oiling, and exhaust.• Utilized SolidWorks to design a chassis-mounted bracket engineered to provide reliable support for the air intake on the engine, mitigating sway and potential damage to the intake.• Aided in the weight balancing of the vehicle through adjustment of tie rods and suspension height on each wheel.• Completed mill and lathe machine training through the UW TEAM Lab, obtained my Intro to Machining shop certification, and utilized training to machine 2 aluminum mounting brackets.

Supply Chain and Operations Leadership Development Program - Quality Engineering• Developed quality engineering skills by completing 5 qualifications for ultrasonic seaming processes, specifically for medical device filters. • Created sample weld seams, analyzed the quality of the seams through bubble point testing, collected data, and ultimately presented the results of the project to the executive leaders of the business segment. • Qualified seaming processes for 32% of part numbers under deviation and submitted engineering change orders to inform customers and operators of process alterations. • Gained experience using a coordinate-measuring machine while conducting the calibration of 5 hollow fiber spinnerets, critical for the plant’s hollow fiber production.
