Veterans Service Representatives (VSRs) work on veterans’ benefits claims and provide comprehensive services to America's veterans and their families. VSRs explain benefit programs and entitlement criteria, conducts interviews, identifies issues, gathers relevant evidence, adjudicates claims, and inputs data necessary to generate the award and notification letter to the veteran describing the decision and the reasoning behind that decision.

Non-Commissioned, civilian position that works in the Public Safety Division. Works to develop and manage security services operations to achieve the Public Safety Departments overall goals and objectives. All objectives are in support of the University of Kansas Medical Center Support Services and the University of Kansas Hospital.

Senior Advisor for the Army National Guard at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. Advocate for the Army National Guard regarding army policies, training and exercises. Effective communicator with the ability to design, develop and execute training plans.

Proposed, initiated, assisted and advised in creating, plans, programs, and environments for developing and maintaining high esprit de corps and morale in all elements of the 3000 Soldiers that comprise the Nebraska Army National Guard.

Served as a Traditional National Army Guard Senior Advisor (one weekend a month and two weeks in the summer). Military Occupational Specialties include training as an Artilleryman, Signalman, Military Instructor, Drill Sergeant, and Military Policeman. Certified Military Instructor at the Nebraska Regional Training Institute (RTI) and instructed various military leadership courses and schools.

Traffic Division:Under general supervision enforced motor vehicle and criminal laws.Recruitment Coordinator:Worked extensively with the development and administration of sworn promotional processes. Oversaw the agencies recruitment process by reviewing labor laws and Police Standards Advisory Council guidelines to ensure compliance and made recommendations to command staff. Addressed recruitment issues, tracked statistical data, developed Comprehensive Recruitment Plans and Annual Recruitment Reports.Executive Protection Detail:Served as an Executive Protection Officer assigned to the security of the Governor and coordinated all security and travel logistics. Conducted threat assessments of facilities and persons of interest prior to scheduled events.
