Java developer on the public API of the Symphony Backend (Java 8, Spring Boot) and the client libraries https://github.com/finos/symphony-bdk-java and https://github.com/finos/symphony-bdk-python under the username symphony-elias. Acted as the lead developer for the Symphony Python BDK project.The position involved, on top of the software development per se, technical studies and high level designs, reviews of technical studies, code reviews.In parallel with my backend engineer role, I created and led the LGBT+ ERG (Employee Resource Group) with full support of HR. Defined the mission statement and goals for 2022 with HR and internal sponsors. Coordinated actions according to the goals between volunteers, HR, internal communications, office managers.

Software development in C++ and Java 8 (backends and software libraries) within a team of software developers and functional analysts.Products were business rule engines with a backend part for the management of rules and the client library part for their evaluation. I worked on a C++ in-house rule engine and on a Java rule engine heavily relying on Drools. Position involved a strong focus on performance of rule evaluation and ease of use.Apart from software development and unit testing, position involved technical studies, costings, high level designs, integration and non-regression testing.Worked as a contractor (employed by Thales Services) from December 2014 until July 2017 and as an Amadeus staff from August 2017 until May 2020.
