•Effectively communicate with internal and external customers as well as third party vendors.•Prioritize effectively and respond to urgent requests within team or from sponsor.•Manage study start-up activities, in small size studies•Provide input to project tools, PL project plan, Central File Maintenance Plan•Provide leadership and direction to project team members•Identify, organize and deliver (where appropriate) study specific training in collaboration with Project Leader and Project Specialists•Evaluate and identify resourcing needs and continuously monitor over life cycle of project•Provide productivity targets to project team members•Collaborate with project team (e.g. Project Leader and Data Operations Leader) on databaselock activities.•Together with Project Leader ensure all administrative closeout procedures are completed,according to Project Close-out Checklist.•Together with Project Leader ensure project is archived and all documentation returned to theclient as specified by the contract.•Participate in end of study meeting and give input to lessons learned information and feedback relevant information into the relevant functions.

- Oversee the work of assigned CRAs, providing advice and guidance to help achieve quality deliverables on site. Ensure that clinical monitoring tasks are conducted in accordance with protocol, process, quality standards and expectations, per Contract. May conduct site monitoring visits for a variety of protocols, sites and therapeutic areas. Provide input, updates to the Clinical Project Manager regarding the monitoring status and CRA team progress and deliverables. Act as subject matter expert for operational conduct of the assigned protocol(s) at site Ensure that new project CRAs are brought on board and receive relevant study information. Provide input to line managers on their project team members’ performance relative to study tasks. Conduct co-monitoring visits to manage data backlog, site compliance and quality issues, may be beyond home geography. May act as site visit report reviewer. May take on special project assignments related to function/corporate initiatives.
