After being acquired by Intel, Oplus went through a major restructure. As a result, I managed several projects, with focus on system engineering and image quality to provide best in class user experience.At 2007 Intel decided to dis-invest in consumer TV products. As a result, we had to shut down Oplus' activities.My last role at Oplus included the transition of all open projects from engineering to production, and handle all technical aspects of EOL for Oplus' video processors products.

Oplus made a system on a chip (SOC) for HD video processing: scaling, de-interlacing, post-processing, and more, integrated with an ARM core for control.At Oplus, I built and managed a multinational application engineering team that offered professional services to TV makers, based on Oplus silicon, hardware reference design, and software implementation.Our work reduced our customers' time to market from 18 to 6 months on average, from design to production.Oplus was acquired by Intel (DHG), in April 2005

At Surf I was managing a team of project leaders, each responsible for porting, customizing, and optimizing Surf's core modem/voice/fax software stack to various platforms: TI C5x-C6x, Intel x86, ARM, MIPS, Motorola 56K, and StarCore.Responsibilities included all project's life-cycle: pre-sale, specifications, engagement, execution, deployment, and support

My role in Rafael was to lead the system integration of a complex cellular project. This was a large-scale project, spanning multi-nodes and many technologies: DBMS, control, communication protocols, signal processing, telephony, and RF. This role required a broad multidisciplinary understanding, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.After completion, I moved to lead the implementation of a signal processing software for RF systems, running on ADI 21K DSP

Kulicke and Soffa is an equipment provider for chip makers. While working at K&S I led software development and system integration of several sub-systems in a large chip assembly system.The software part included real-time control of moving parts, connected to a computer vision system and DBMS. The code was written in C and run on VxWorks

Elscint NM provided PET/SPECT scanners. Elscint was acquired by GE and operates as part of GE Healthcare.My responsibility at Elscint included real-time software development for handling peripherals and motion control systems and integration into the overall product.The software was written in C, ASM, and PLM86 and ran on top of iRMX OS.The software products had to comply with FDA, TUV and other regulations.
