Job Summary: Shift Management and Supervision• Supervises NOC Engineers to ensure appropriate and timely actions to resolve incidents. • Ensures daily task and routines are completed, divides and distributes workload to the on-duty engineers• Responds to management escalations in the absence of a NOC Manager.• Acts as the Highest point of technical escalations for the engineers on duty• Incident Management – Works High voltage/Critical Incidents• Event Management • Problem Management - Provides root cause analysis and proposes network design optimization to the customer• Performs shift hand-off to the next lead.• Train and mentor junior personnel

Field Work• Nationwide IOS Upgrade and Preventive Maintenance of all IP Backbone Nodes.• Dispatches on-site for troubleshooting• Supervise and checks vendor output for Hardware related Issues, troubleshooting, and RMA.• High Level IP network support for Smart’s Nationwide 2 year 67.5 Billion Modernization Project. • High Level IP network support for SMART-PLDT Project Synergy• High Level IP network support to NOKIA, ERICSSON, HUAWEI, NORTEL, ZTE and other Smart elements for both Circuit and Packet Switched Network• Integrates GSM Elements such as BSC, RNC, MSC, MSS, MGW, HLR to Smart IP Core network• Provides 100% full IP expertise/support, availability and on-call function 24x7 to cater all problems Nationwide regarding IP CORE Network.• Implementation and Administration of AAA using TACACS+ of all nodes within IP Backbone for User Access Management(UAM)• Provides IP recommendations and optimization for network improvements and operational efficiency.Key Skills and Technologies: Service Provider Technologies, MPLS, BGP, L3 VPN, Traffic Engineering and Analysis
