A dual role at Options in part involving supporting the in-house psychiatrists' caseloads as the Medical Administration Assistant through triage, scheduling, and bridging client, service providers, and doctor(s) communications. The QMHA role involves providing in-community demonstration, teaching, and support to achieve behavioral changes in families with high-risk child and persistently mentally ill adults. The Qualified Mental Health Associate assesses needs and co-creates a behavioral plan with the assigned therapist and client.

Provide guidance to Student Event Coordinators in the LGBTESS located in Oregon Hall. Plan weekly staff meetings including team building and training on topics such as resource navigation, student programming, de-escalation, anti-racism, and other topics relevant to an identity center Meet individually with student staff bi-weekly to create personal goals and support student development Report to the LGBT Education and Support Services Coordinator for updates on LGBTESS needs, student staff development, and potential collaboration Coordinate events related to LGBTQIA+ students and intersected identities for the campus community including topics on racial justice, disability justice, and LGBTQIA+ justice. Collaborate with student organizations and community organizations, including intentional reach out to graduate student LGBTQIA+ organizations

Filming Interactions to Nurture Development (FIND), a video coaching program aimed to strengthen positive interactions between caregivers and children, uses select clips of adults engaging with children to reinforce the kinds of services and return responses that are the foundation of healthy engagement. FIND programs are currently available in select communities in the State of Oregon for eligible parents and caregivers of young children.FIND was developed by Dr. Fisher and colleagues, and its simple and practical approach emphasized caregivers’ strengths and capabilities. The FIND program has been implemented in both individual and group settings, and in both cases, begins with video recordings of a caregiver and child in their home or natural setting. The film is then carefully edited to show brief clips in which the caregiver is engaged in developmentally supportive interactions with the child, which is then reviewed in detail with the caregivers.

The Rapid Assessment of Pandemic Impact on Development-Early Childhood (RAPID) is an ongoing survey of nationally representative households with children ages 0-5 designed to gather essential information on needs, health-promoting behaviors, and well-being of children and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic. I assist the project manager on an array of tasks including data analysis, view tracking on our research articles, as well as developing projects and information stores that benefit the research team.

Resident assistants (RAs) are part-time live-in student leaders in the residence halls. As a resident assistant, I have the opportunity to act as a cultural navigator of students’ experience, assist students with academics, help students develop relationships across campus, and most importantly, assist students in having a positive experience living and learning in our communities.RAs work a maximum average of 20 hours per week—work that can be demanding at times. While resident assistants help facilitate and develop our residential communities, we are also called upon to assist in ensuring that our residence halls provide a safe and secure environment for all our residents.

While functioning as the vice-president, primarily upheld regular communication with fellow institutions in the region, planned and executed for delegations to participate at regional and national conferences (including assembling delegation, organizing travel, registration, and hotel stay), created regular meetings with RHA representatives, created 2 annual bids for the University to PACURH, oversee regional affiliation with PACURH.
