I work for Finlays Horticulture( Kenya) limited as the Group agronomist-Flowers, covering three production sites in Kericho (90ha), Naivasha (130ha) and Nanyuki-Timau (60ha) where we grow Roses, Carnations, Lilies and Stocks. We also have flower operations in Kunming, China and Gauteng, South Africa, sites which I have visited at one time or another . I have also visited Holland and the UK in relation to my work.My area of expertise covers Crop protection, Scouting, IPM , Irrigation , Fertigation, soil and media science,safe use training and ensuring good agricultural practice in line with market base codes.
