Working directly alongside medical professionals, I oversee the WIC taking vitals, rooming patients, assisting Doctors in treatment, and ensuring proper care for all my patients. On the job, I get hands-on experience in patient care and daily opportunities to expand my knowledge in healthcare.

Working under Dr/Md Nathaniel Martinez, I am working on designing and creating a working biodegradable scaffolding to grow tissue samples in 3-dimensions instead of the typical 2-dimensional techniques that do not allow for direct application of a tissue once fully grown.

I coordinate events for the club, ranging from fundraisers to social events. I currently oversee our Big and Little program where we pair new incoming students with an upperclassman to be their mentor while navigating their career at Cal Poly. As a club, we strive to foster a safe community at a predominantly white institution where all members can be their true selves.
