Hi my name is Elijah Rivera and I am ready to begin my full time career job. I am a graduate of St. John’s University and have earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. In my spare time I enjoy building things and figuring out how things work. My hobbies include anything that has to do with computers, new technology, video games, animation and science fiction movies. I also enjoy, bike riding, hiking and challenging brain teaser games. I am the go-to person for my friends and family for anything technical or that requires assembly.I give back to the community by regularly donating blood, and am a proud gallon-club member donor. I’ve also participated in multiple walks to raise money for various charities.While in college my most rewarding project was building a computer from scratch. I enjoyed the project because I had to spend time researching each individual component to use in the build. It took a great deal of problem solving, experimentation and evaluating each part of the computer. I successfully completed the build utilizing my knowledge in the field along with some help from peers. I am a team player and work well with others.I am excited about my future and seeking an entry level professional position that will offer an opportunity to gain experience, add value and further contribute to the success of a company.
