To Change my Family Tree...Each of us should have a WHY behind what gets us out of bed in the morning. A higher purpose for our daily walk. As the son of a single mother, and a first-generational wealth builder, I have committed myself to changing the lives of future generations.My purpose has given me the drive to graduate debt free from The Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a degree in Finance and Business Analytics. I participated in many activities during my tenure, but my most rewarding was a speaker series I launched titled "Conviction over Circumstances". The series used stories from my own life to inspire Kelley Students to turn trials into triumphs, and has now been integrated with The Kelley FUTURES Mentoring Program.My purpose has now lead me to a Management Consultant role at Accenture. Here I intend to use my finance and analysis skills to add value to organizations in Health Care. Specifically around Health Equity & Social Determinants of Health. Improving inefficiencies in such industries will...you guessed it...positively impact future generations.I will change my family tree through wealth building, industry impact, and community impact. The last words of the last chapter of the book of my life will read "The world is better because he was here."
