Current* Directs Civic Works' Center for Sustainable Careers and YouthBuild programs, which expand access to family-sustaining careers for Baltimore residents from historically marginalized communities. The programs support Baltimore residents in building the skills needed to secure quality employment, and employers around investing in their workers and advancing equity across their practices.* Launched and currently oversees sector-based career training tracks in solar installation, and infrastructure construction.* Leads Civic Works’ clean energy social enterprise, which expands access to solar and energy efficiency services for low- and moderate-income residents. The program also uses the demand for its services to create paid on-the-job training opportunities.* Developed and currently oversees Civic Works' job quality initiative, driving the adoption of inclusive hiring policies, family-sustaining wages, equitable workplace practices, and career ladder strategies among employers. Strategically incorporates these standards into procurement RFPs, prioritized workforce services, and the Good Business Works marketing platform.* Led the process of strengthening program measurement and learning capabilities through the implementation of a centralized outcomes tracking database.* Led a successful capital campaign and relocated the programs to an expanded 43,000 square foot training facility.* Oversees a team of 50 full-time staff and manages an operating budget of $5 million.* Manages a portfolio of over 20 grants, overseeing relationships with foundation, corporate, government, and individual funders.* Shared Civic Works' model for expanding job access nationally at numerous conferences, including the National Fund for Workforce Solutions, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, Good Jobs Green Jobs, Clean Energy Workforce Education, Transitional Jobs Network, and Corps Network National Conference.
