Industrial Engineer supporting station operations. Challenged with planning, developing, and implementing AM, PM, & OnRoad Staffing plans designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and assets. Works closely with operations to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, training needs, and continual improvement initiatives.

Project-based internship working directly with the Director of Procurement. Developed a supplier diversity program and created a SOP to maintain documentation, integrated process into vendor onboarding. Optimized supplier partnerships by creating a tier-based supplier segmentation model. Established and created the tools and process to maintain updated records of product specifications to ensure data integrity in SAP. Assisted in automating several reports resulting in a 70% reduction in weekly processing time.

Input purchase orders into the ERP system; assigned and communicated deadlines for approval drawings and production deadlines to engineering and manufacturing. Assisted engineering by revising approval drawings using AutoCAD. Additionally, I gained experience working in a manufacturing environment; sandblasted and powder coated level gauges and flow indicators, performed operations on CNC mill and lathe, and assisted in bar graph assembly involving glass cutting and glass blowing.
