As a Georgetown University student studying Justice and Peace Studies, Government, and Sociology, I am deeply passionate about criminal justice reform, mass incarceration, reproductive rights, and creating a more equitable society.As a full-time employee in the summer and part-time during the academic year, I have enhanced program operations and management within the Georgetown University's Prisons and Justice Initiative through tailoring resources to formerly and currently incarcerated program participants. At EMILY's List, I spent the summer crafting messaging responding to the overturn of Roe v. Wade to raise money to elect pro-choice democratic women to office. Graduating from BASIS Chandler with High Honors, I defended my thesis entitled 'The White Stigma of Judaism: The Intersectionality of Racial and Religious Oppression' and served as an honorable role model in my community. I aspire to change the world for the better through creating equitable systems, policies, and environments for all. I believe policy and social movements can create positive change in our communities and strengthen our lives. My passion lies in problem solving large scale issues with specialized solutions. In the future, I hope to use my knowledge and skills to bring about positive change in the criminal justice system and advocate for the rights of marginalized communities. I am eager to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations, and to continue learning and growing in my understanding of these important issues.I am extremely flexible, positive, team-oriented, and creative. I work best in collaborative spaces with optimistic, goal-oriented mindsets. I am eager to learn and continuously striving to be the best version of myself within and outside of the work environment.
