• Advised over 300 students (consisting of graduate degrees and certificates within Accounting, Finance, Financial Planning, and Marketing) regarding proper course selection and resolving other student issues. • Assisted with orientation sessions for all graduate students within caseload, welcoming them to the university, answering their initial questions, and scheduling a “New Student Advising” session. • Worked with department chairs of programs to solve student issues such as academic probation and lack of participation in courses, as well as to discuss student enrollment in department courses, sometimes adding new sections of courses when needed based on student demand.• Aided Veteran and International students regarding specific needs for in-person courses based on their immigration/financial aid requirements, ensuring that they were able to continue their studies successfully. • Worked closely with the Marketing department chair during a “teach-out” of the Marketing program when the program was discontinued, advising students regarding how best to complete their Marketing degrees based on remaining marketing courses and eligible/approved courses substitutions.
