I’m responsible for processing purchase invoices from our external suppliers, our external associates and where relevant their umbrella companies. I also worked alongside other Accountancy Assistants, Finance Business Partners and Senior Finance Business Partners to prepare payroll reconciliations, budget monitoring and journals.Whilst working in the Capital Accountancy team I was fortunate enough to complete some Excel training courses which helped develop my Excel skills and enabled me to create spreadsheets with complex functions to support payroll reconciliations against budget monitored positions.During my time in Budget Strategy, I created a working guide for cost allocations to support finance and non-finance members of staff who needed to understand how to allocate costs and times against specific budget codes.I was also responsible for providing the timesheets (actual time versus budgeted time) for all of the corporate cost centres, as well as monitoring the budgets of individual cost centres, producing monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly staffing reports.
