This collaborative initiative team up 6 local and international NGOs dedicated to the Balearics sea conservation. Marilles Foundation, Conservation Collective, Blue Marine Foundation, Mallorca Preservation, Menorca Preservation and Ibiza Preservation seeks to improve the sustainability of Balearic fisheries engaging fishermen and supply chain stakeholders to become our allies championing sustainable fishing practices and responsible seafood sourcing across the Balearic Islands, concurrently eradicating illegal fisheries.

FulFishment is a consultancy company focused on seafood sustainability. FulFishment aimed at catalizing fishery improvement projects and supporting a path towards seafood sustainability certifications like MSC and Fair Trade, increasing the market availability of sustainable seafood products for local and global customers. FulFishment guides main actors in generating change allowing future consistent sustainable seafood delivery through:- Seafood sustainability capacity building to Industry actors and small scale fisheries, to increase readiness and induce action towards Fishery Improvement Projects, Traceability and sustainability certifications in line with increasing retailer and food service requirements. - New trading opportunities reaching customers who understand the value of sustainable seafood in markets such as USA, UK, Spain, Brazil, México, Perú and Chile.FulFishment innovative approach helps generate market value through sustainability efforts. Having built experience in seafood trade and supply chain sustainability improvements, FulFishment stands as a platform for multi-stakeholder coordinated action, based on a diverse network of key decision-makers in the global seafood industry.

Mi role was to spearhead fundraising work. I collaborated with various stakeholders, and cultivated relationships with donors, the steering committee, ambassadors and the Conservation Collective global network.

Support the Department of Environment, Agriculture and Fisheries from the Regional Government of the Balearic Islands. Specifically, I work with the team of the Cabrera Archipielago Maritime - Terrestial National Park in the coordination, supervision and communication of the project “Plastic Busters MPAs: Preserving Biodiversity from Plastics in the Mediterranean Sea”. This is an Interreg- MED Project Co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Responsible for the development of retail and industry partnerships aimed towards the implementation of sustainability policies for seafood purchasing in Latin America. Close work with retailer sustainability teams, seafood buyers and their suppliers to gather information and advise them on key fisheries leading to improve sustainable fishing through market leverage across the supply chain. Set-up and consolidated partnerships in Mexico, Peru, Chile, Brazil and Central America, including Walmart and Nestle Purina.In-depth knowledge of the Latin America region fisheries, seafood industries, international markets and public policies. Creation and management, under SFP strategy, of the South America Reduction Fisheries Supplier Roundtable. Cross-divisional coordination of fishery profiles development and sustainability risk assessments. Coordination of international events, advise on social issues and initiatives relevant to the seafood supply chain. Planned and activated an industry-led fishery improvement proyect for anchoveta fishery in north Chile, involving main actors in the industry. Successful in activating and bringing together the interests of Peruvian and Chilean industries to better understand a co-management approach to improve sustainability in the South Peruvian and North Chilean anchoveta and squid fisheries. Strategic and technical guidance to support Monterrey bay Aquarium and Unimonte University in the creation of the Brazilian Alliance for Sustainable Seafood. This platform aimed to draw lines of collaboration in science, supply chain engagement and consumer awareness within a highly complex environment as Brazil is. Walmart Brazil has been publicly recognized for their sustainability seafood program with SFP under my direction, and has been awarded the Biodiversity Category Award in the Guia da Sustentabilidade 2016, the most important sustainability survey in Brazil, sponsored by Exame Magazine, being selected amongst all economic sectors.

Studied a Master in Pacific International Affairs at the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California in San Diego.Participated in Fulbright Enrichment Seminars in Boston and Chicago aim to work with Woman from the Western Hemisphere.

Developed retailer and distributor proposal drafts. Supported business development processes. Successfully implemented new distributor partnerships. Provided sourcing support to all partners, including updated species-specific sustainability reports and recommendations concerning fishery improvement projects throughout Latin America.

Served as intern for the Admissions Office reviewing and processing hundreds of prospective student applications. Interact with and assist applicants with questions via phone, email and events. Explored potential agreements between UCSD and Universities in Latin America.

Interacted with high-level decision-makers including government officials and executives of Fortune 500 companies making up the membership of the NFTC. Supported staff in lobbying efforts in order to encourage passage of free trade agreements between the U.S. and Colombia, Panama and South Korea. Worked with the U.S. Libya Business Council supporting Libya in its transition to democracy.

Prepared the IDB Chile Country Strategy 2010-2014, supporting exchange, coordination, and participation around joint activities with various stakeholders. Drew on analytical work conducted by the Bank on a wide range of economic and social sectors such as, innovation, competitiveness, integration, education, and government modernization. Supported Mission BID - OECD for the elaboration of the study “Strengthening Institutional Capacities for Innovation Policy Design and Implementation in Chile”. Facilitated IDB response to the earthquake in Chile.

Developed new international markets in Dubai, Spain, England, Netherlands and Germany for the seafood and meat products of Chile’s largest seafood company resulting in an additional yearly sales volume of 2 million USD. Developed a brochure for the company used for special events and potential customers. Worked closely with ProChile to ensure products and events were being covered and promoted. Assisted small producers to meet the quality requirements and product specifications necessary to export their products, and advised and assisted with their marketing strategies and materials.

Started a local purchasing company of seafood, meat and fruits for an international food trading company based in Costa Rica. Self-dependent execution of company set-up, market analysis and business strategy development. Facilitated rapid growth of supplier and logistics networks in local market. Developed company marketing publications.
