Elisabeth Smith’s 20 year career supporting disadvantaged youth and families in community, residential, and educational settings - with the past decade at Centerpoint School, now brings her to BFA Saint Albans High School. With both her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work, she's gained a deep understanding of the social and emotional challenges faced by the modern adolescent.Elisabeth lives in Westford, VT with her family, a flock of roosters, and her Good Citizen Certified chihuahua, Tink, who aides and assists her work.As a Student Support Specialist, Elisabeth brings her optimistic, strength based perspective and will operate from a trauma and attachment informed lens. She specializes in attunement, co-regulation and Animal Assisted Therapy.Elisabeth has a flashy style, a quirky sense of humor, and is thrilled to be in this community.
