As chief executive of ANB Sweden I lead the organisation responsible for quality assurance of 90 training centres in Sweden, following guidelines from the European Welding Federation, EWF and the International Institute of Welding, IIW. Among the training centres we find upper secondary schools for vocational training, higher vocational education and engineering covering international welders, specialists, technician, engineers, inspectors, and welding designers (IW, IWS, IWT, IWE, IWI, IWSD).I follow, manage, and improve the quality management system of ANB Sweden and perform quality audits at training centres.I also represent ANB Sweden and Swedish interests in international collaborations regarding education and the development of training guidelines.As Technical manager at the Swedish Welding Commission, I’m a member of the management team, I represent the organisation in conferences, seminars and fairs and other work tasks in the large network of members from the industry.The Swedish Welding Commission is a non-profit organisation which works to support industrial companies, research institutes, government, and other public agencies as well as other types of organisations. The primary objective of the Commission is to promote education, research and development of Swedish welding and cutting technology, standardisation, and information in the welding field.

AlfaWall develops products/systems according to ATEX, sold by Alfa Laval. This work consisted of developing a quality management system with extended quality requirements according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 80079-34:2011 (supersedes EN 13980 (Potentially explosive atmospheres. Application of quality systems). Managing the quality systems third party certification and leading the work with continuous improvements. Performing internal audits and participating at management team meetings. Be in charge of claim investigations in close collaboration with Alfa Laval. Supplier reviews and audits.

Developing a management system according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 from scratch and build it as a web-based user friendly system in Microsoft Visio. Engage coworkers and the management team into changing the company into a process based organization. Training process owners and lead them in the work with continuous improvements. Educate and train all employees in the work with developing the processes and how to gain from a well-functioning management system.Developed many of the company’s processes. Worked as a project leader for small and large project. Performed internal audits at Wallenius Water and at sister companies as well as supplier audits.Also worked with rules and specifications valid for mechanical work at Swedish nuclear power plants PAKT 2000 – ABM, KBM and TBM

Initiated the work with building a quality management system in a relatively small company.
