Some people are passionate about justice in foreign lands or helping the poor of other countries. I am passionate about the marginalized of Dallas, those forgotten by our city.The under-resourced of Dallas live in my backyard (or I in theirs) a few miles down the road, but worlds apart from where I grew up. They live a different kind of life from the one I grew up living. A different kind of life from what I thought I wanted.I am learning it happens to be just the life for me.
