Known globally for her advocacy for diversity, STEM education and entrepreneurship, Elisabeth Valerio is seeking support for Africa focused initiatives in conjunction with her run for President of Zimbabwe in 2023. She leads the African Federation, ATLAS Ventures and the United Zimbabwe Alliance to support entrepreneurs across the continent and build better lives for the people of Zimbabwe and Africa.Elisabeth also serves as the President and CEO of the International Center for Professional Development (ICPD). In addition to providing leadership and managing the organizations’ programs, she has played a key role in providing access to careers, mentoring and professional development for students, military veterans and life science professionals.Elisabeth is a frequent speaker for training programs, meetings and conferences. Her career has included formulation research at Amgen Inc., resulting in multiple talks, posters and a co-invention. She has served as a consultant for the Biotechnology Institute.
