As a part of the CSI team, I work with a variety of individuals growing the Contemplative Studies community in Corvallis and beyond. More specifically, my role involves operations including designing and executing any software or technology required, helping with research for design choices, platforms, grant opportunities, etc., writing operation manuals, and any other tasks required of me.

As a member of the executive team, my role is to help make decisions for the chapter as well as oversee directors of Philanthropy, Events, Public Relations, Risk Prevention, Panhellenic Delegate, and Community Service.

As a member of the executive team, my role was to manage the finances. This includes paying bills, collecting payments, communicating with the House Board, making decisions with the team about the chapter, and creating and balancing the budget.

As a client service representative/administrator, my roles include placing orders, communicating with clients, manufacturers, and branders, shipping, designing graphics, leading projects, and keeping inventory.

As an Industrial Sales Intern at Nalco Water, I gained hands-on experience at the intersection of chemical engineering and water treatment solutions. My role involved working closely with engineers to assess, optimize, and implement water treatment programs for industrial clients. I conducted on-site water quality tests, analyzed system performance, recommended chemical dosing strategies to improve efficiency and sustainability, and more.Through this internship, I developed a deep understanding of industrial water treatment processes—ranging from corrosion and scaling prevention to mitigating Legionella growth. I was able to balance technical performance with economic feasibility, and collaborated on cross-functional projects that improved both client outcomes and environmental compliance.This experience strengthened my skills in process optimization, data analysis, and technical communication, allowing me to bridge the gap between engineering principles and client needs in a real-world industrial setting.

My responsibilities included inventory of all products, directing guests at the berry farm, answering the vast amount of questions, collecting payments, and any other random tasks required. Essentially, my job was to ensure customer comfort and enjoyment.

I was fortunate enough to participate in URSA (an Oregon State-based research program for undergraduate students) working in the semi-conductor industry. My specific team worked to make LEDs into a smart fabric, which required extensive research on active material, the printing method, the device structure, and compared all of these with the photoluminescence quantum yield (essentially, the efficiency of the LED). This sparked my interest in the semi-conductor field.
