• Understands and follows all written procedures that apply to the function of the position• Understands and follows all procedures and processes required for work performed under Regulatory Compliance (i.e. GxP, FDA/GLP, and GCP, OECD, CLIA, etc.) and attends annual GLP training• Prepares chemical solutions for use in processing and testing samples following standardized formulas or standard operating procedures • Tests and analyzes samples for CLIA, GxP, or Research • Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required• Documents results of test samples that included calculating the data and repeating analysis; documentation must be compliant with food documentation practices and any deviations immediately reported • Reads and reviews all new SOP’s Training file and employee training file up to date• Checks inventory database, upon being scheduled for a test method, for reagents required for that method; maintains a current inventory of all analytical reagents by complying with department procedures for reagent use and reorder• Performs qualification and re-qualification of reagents, as necessary• Helps maintain assigned laboratory equipment• Ensures laboratory trash/expired reagents are disposed of properly• Works in a laboratory setting meeting the physical requirements of laboratory experiments• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision• Regular attendance and punctuality• Applies GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner• Performs other duties assigned• Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness• Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines• Adheres to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements

• Assist with shipments (mainly international) including seed, plant tissue and supplies. Duties may include assembling shipments, document creation, filing, assisting with phytosanitary inspections and working with the shipping department.• Assist with e-systems work including assigning lot ids, creation of testing request ids, assistance with sample kits, label printing and electronic notebook creation. • Assist with Proficiency Testing (PT) and Reference Materials (RM), including use of randomization keys to assemble PT kits, preparing leaf material for use, devitalizing materials and sending them for germ tests, and PT/RM shipments. • Sample and store leaf material grown in the green house and growth chambers.• Ensures shipments are compliant with Bayer, USDA and other government agencies policies.• Effectively operate under the current ISO:9001 standards.

• Counting and packaging/distributing seed• Preparing plant tissue samples (grinding, ginning, delinting, lyophilizing, etc.)• Aliquoting and dispensing prepared plant samples to various analysts and shipping samples to laboratories• Receiving and inventorying seed or plant sample materials• Organizing, placing or retrieving inventories (ambient, 4C, or -20C walk-in coolers, warehouse, or -80C upright units)• Creating and shipping plant sampling kits
