I'm a neuroscientist and behaviorist who is passionate about the intersection of research and technology. I now have the unique opportunity to apply the skills and experience garnered from my research training toward the grant writing and development disciplines as an associate grant writer and consultant at InteliSpark, LLC. Our company helps research-focused small businesses and biotechnology startups secure non-dilutive government seed funding through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. My background incorporates several life science disciplines including neuroscience, biology, genetics, animal behavior, and computer science. My research interests center on using state-of-the-art technologies to analyze and quantify complex behaviors and unlock new insights into the inner workings of the central and peripheral nervous systems. I received my Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine in August 2023. For my thesis work, I developed and validated a novel online readout of motor readiness in mice aimed toward serving dynamic studies of motor planning.
