At InGenius Prep, I instruct students in the U.S. and abroad, sharpening their essay writing skills and helping them transform their portfolios so that they are college-ready. I carefully edit students' writing, proofreading for grammar and spelling, and offer one-on-one feedback sessions to help students to dig deeper in their analyses and clarify their theses.

As an instructor at Boston University, I teach Introduction to Creative Writing to a diverse group of students, ranging from freshmen to seniors. I designed the syllabus, and sourced and uploaded all course materials. I manage the course's Blackboard site, develop and grade assignments, facilitate workshop feedback, and adapt the course to our ever-changing COVID classroom.

As a tutor with Varsity Tutors, I coordinated with parents to schedule in-person tutoring for Spanish, Reading Comprehension, Algebra, and Geometry. I customized tutoring plans around a student’s specific needs, helping with homework, test review, and essay editing. At the end of each session, I provided session reports to keep Varsity Tutors and parents up-to-date on a student’s progress.

As a Customer Support Specialist with HubSpot, I answered phone calls and web tickets to provide tech support to HubSpot customers in English and Spanish. I used my deep understanding of the HubSpot software stack to solve problems related to web design, site visit analytics, DNS, SEO, inbound marketing strategy, email deliverability, CRM use, and more. I honed my HTML and CSS skills, and developed skills to de-escalate tense situations.

At The American Reader, I researched, selected, and edited content for the daily online segment, “This Day In Lettres.” I managed the CMS and used HootSuite to coordinate daily social media posts for the literary magazine. I periodically assessed submissions for publication potential, and created and maintained a database to track finances, publication history, and competitor data. Before publication time, I proofread fiction, poems, and essays for spelling errors.
