Conducted research in the lab of Dr. Jen Dionne, designing next generation optical devices based on high-quality (high-Q) factor metasurfaces. - Conducted numerical simulations (COMSOL Multiphysics) studying resonant behavior and applied nonlinearities, such as the Pockels effect in lithium niobate and optical Kerr effect in silicon. - Designed ultra-thin optical devices such as beam splitters, beam steerers, and lenses.
