Hello! My name is Elissa and I have over seven years of experience as a Store Manager for Starbucks and have been a partner with the company for over ten years. I began my journey as a barista at the age of 16 and remained with Starbucks because of the culture, environment and my passion for training others. I became an Assistant Manager in 2015 after being a successful barista trainer for two years and then became a Store Manager in 2016. I successfully managed multiple locations in my district (both low volume and high-volume stores) and opened a new location with my district in 2023. I was also a Store Manager Trainer and Community lead for my district in 2023. I was nominated twice for Store Manager of the Quarter and was given the award in one of the most challenging years of my career in 2020. I have my Associates Degree in Education and I am currently finalizing my Bachelor's degree in Educational Studies in Instructional Design to pursue my passions in teaching, training and development.
